Darren Arbet is currently the Owner and Head Coach of the San Jose SaberCats of the Arena Football League. Before beginning his coaching career, Darren played football on the collegiate level at Sacramento State and played in the AFL for the Maryland Commandos. In his 13 years as a Head Coach in the Arena Football League, he has won three Arena Bowl Championships, been named Coach of the Year twice and was recently inducted in to the AFL Hall of Fame. In addition to his coaching, Darren has been a regular contributor to SaberCats Weekly, a weekly television show during the AFL season that provides fans with an inside look at the Franchise. The show includes game recaps, game previews and an explanation of the game for younger viewers; all aimed to provide an informative, yet entertaining look at the SaberCats and the Arena Football League. In addition, he is a featured guest on the Fitz and Brooks Show on KNBR Radio during the AFL Season.
