Stacy Paetz

TELEVISION HOST. ANCHOR. SIDELINE REPORTER. PRODUCER.

A unique mix of Polynesian, Cherokee Indian and Greek descent, this award winning Television Host, Sideline Reporter and Producer has proven credibility and trust throughout the television and sports industries.  Stacy Paetz began her career making history.  At only 19-years-old, she made her first on-air appearance on ESPN. She became the first female and youngest individual in the NBA to host every pre-game, halftime and post-game show, as well as report from the sidelines for the Indiana Pacers on FOX Sports for seven seasons.  Stacy was named Graduate of the Decade for Ball State University just five years post graduation and was later honored as one of the Most Influential 30 under 30 in Journalism.  In 2014, Stacy became the first female announcer in the 90-year history of the World Famous Harlem Globetrotters announcing on both U.S. and International tours.


Stacy can also be seen covering Indy Car, TUDOR, and Continental Tire races for Honda Racing HPD Trackside and heard across the country as a radio voice for NCAA Championships.  Stacy has worked the sidelines for the NBA on TNT during the regular season and as part of TNT’s coverage of the NBA Playoffs. Stacy has reported for NBAtv’s The Jump, GameTime, Auto Trader Tip Off and NBA Summer League.  She hosted NCAA On Campus, a national show featuring in depth stories on student-athletes and hosted NCAA men’s hockey, soccer and basketball selection shows.


Stacy covered the college football sidelines for Big Ten Network and Mazda MX-5 racing for Velocity on Discovery Channel.  Prior to joining FOX Sports, she hosted ESPN’s Scholastic Sports America, a weekly show that showcased the top high school athletes in the nation. While at ESPN, she worked the sidelines for college football, Women’s College World SeriesLittle League World Series and NCAA Men’s Soccer Championships.  Also during that time, she was part of the production team at the Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta, ESPN’s X-Games and ESPN’s Sunday Night NFL. Stacy also hosted NCAA Football, volleyball and softball shows, Inside the Colts, Auto Racing’s CART Friday Night and Splash TV, providing in depth features on Olympic swimmers and divers around the globe.  In addition to television, Stacy hosts a variety of red carpet events including Los Angeles Fashion Week, The Miracle Match with Pete Sampras and as a special feature producer for a segment on the Oprah Winfrey Show.


Stacy has been featured in Sports Illustrated and Dime Magazine for her work on and away from television.  She mentors children, speaks to several organizations across the country each year and is involved with church and community services.  Stacy is on the Board of Advisors for Athletes Against Drugs, Sheltering Wings, Just Say Know and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  She coached basketball skills and lead media training for boys and girls in Ireland with SportQuest and has worked closely with Wounded Warrior Project, Children’s Action Network, Autism Speaks, Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, Pencils of Promise, Children’s Bureau, and the National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth. Stacy also supports the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation, Every Nation, Sister Connection, The Boaz Project, Hope for Women Magazine, World Vision, and the Christian HolyLand Foundation.


Away from television, Stacy loves athletic challenges and adventures. She has rock climbed in Alaska, skydived and kayaked in San Juan, zip-lined in Hawaii and hiked Pike’s Peak.  Stacy drove an Indy Car at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and was “disappointed the governor limited her to only 130mph.” She rides motorcycles and is currently pursuing her pilot’s license.  She still makes time to play basketball, softball, beach volleyball, golf and trains in CrossFit.


Fun Facts: Stacy has spent time in each U.S. State and 26 countries.  She owns over 400 pairs of shoes and has begun writing her first book.

Leslie Gudel – Anchor/Reporter

LESLIE GUDEL-Anchor/Reporter

Leslie Gudel is an original member of the Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia team having been with the network for over 11 years. As the first female sports anchor in Philadelphia, Leslie has become a respected member of the sports community. In addition to her prime time anchor duties, she also covers the Philadelphia Phillies throughout the season and was with them throughout their 2008 World Series Championship run. Prior to working for Comcast SportsNet, Leslie worked for Prime Sports in Los Angeles.
Highlights of her broadcasting career include covering the U.S. Figure Skating Championships,interviewing former President George W. Bush while working the Little League World Series, working two Fiesta Bowls and reporting from the Rose Parade in her hometown in Southern California.
Leslie has also worked the Indianapolis 500 for ABC Sports,hosted TNN‘s “NASCAR Garage”, college football sidelines for both ABC and ESPN. For ABC, she covered the Little League World Series where she interviewed then President Bush. For ESPN she covered the Professional Bowlers Association for a number of years.

Mel Proctor

Mel Proctor is one of the most versatile broadcasters in the business, having done play-by-play for MLB, the NBA and NFL as well as handling a variety of assignments for NBC, CBS, TNT and Fox networks. Proctor spent 17 years as the voice of the Washington Wizards on both TV and radio, 12 years as the TV announcer for the Baltimore Orioles and broadcast college sports for the Home Team Sports Network. He was named Maryland’s Sportscaster of the Year six times.

In 1997, Proctor began a five year run as the TV voice of the San Diego Padres. Proctor has also called action for the New Jersey Nets and Los Angeles Clippers on radio as well as the Texas Rangers on radioTV. He was also the first television announcer for the Washington Nationals baseball team.

Proctor began his career with KGMB radio-TV in Honolulu, where he did play-by-play for the Hawaii Islanders baseball team and football and basketball for the University of Hawaii as well as anchoring the TV sports. Proctor currently owns and operates Mel Proctor Sports Media, a media coaching service for athletes, coaches and aspiring broadcasters. He is the author of two books: The Official Fan’s Guide to the Fugitive and I Love the Work But I Hate the Business, released in 2012.

Jim Watson

Jim Watson is Five-time Emmy Award-winner.  Watson’s signature is his versatility. There is virtually no sport he hasn’t called or covered. From Major League Baseball (MLB), to international beach volleyball (FIVB) to college football (NCAA) and three Olympic Games (IOC)—21 sports in all.

Currently, Watson is a play-by-play announcer for several Pac-12 sports.  During this school year alone, Watson has worked more than 30 conference events, including the Pac-12 Championships for football, basketball, swimming and gymnastics.  In the past, he has also called Pac-12 baseball, volleyball, track & field, cross-country, tennis, golf, softball and soccer. In addition, Watson was the original host of “Runnin’ with the Pac” for its first five seasons.

Last summer Watson worked his third Olympic Games for NBC Sports. Once again featuring his versatility, Jim did both Tae Kwon Do and Weightlifting his third and fourth different Olympic sports.  In 2000, he was the play-by-play announcer for Beach Volleyball in Sydney, Australia and in 2004 moved to Indoor Volleyball for the Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.

Watson is also the pregame and postgame host/reporter for “Dodgers Live”, the play-by-play announcer for the (FIVB) Beach Volleyball World Tour and for five seasons, the play-by-play announcer for the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer, (MLS).

This spring Watson will call the World Championships for rowing.  It will be the sixth World Championship sport on his resume, having previously worked the World Championships of Snowboard Cross, the World Championships of Beach Volleyball, the (team) Volleyball World Championships, as well as calling both the men’s and women’s competitions for the Water Polo World Championships.  Watson was also at the mic for the World Wrestling Championships, (both Greco-Roman and Freestyle).

Watson has added his voice to football, basketball, baseball, beach volleyball, team volleyball, soccer, gymnastics, water polo, swimming, weightlifting, track & field, cross-country, wrestling, skiing, snowboarding, ice hockey, softball, golf, tennis, motocross and rowing.

Watson attended the University of Hawaii, (UH) and the University of Southern California, (USC).  He graduated from USC in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Information, (SPIN).  He is married and currently lives in Santa Monica, California.

Tanya Lyon

Tanya Lyon is currently a video/multimedia anchor and reporter with The Orange County Register (in Southern California). Tanya has over eight years of anchoring, reporting and producing experience for both TV, print and the web. On camera experience includes everything from hard news to sports, including appearances on Good Day LA to promote the Register’s content as well as Fox Sports West as a sideline reporter.
Tanya is a graduate of University of California Irvine with a major in classical civilizations. While in high school she ran track and field and cross-country. At UCI, she ran 1500 and 3000 meters. During college and continuing today, she is involved in community activities from helping to establish a 5K run for an injured teammate to establishing a fitness program for local elementary school children.

Brian Davis


Television Play-by-Play announcer
Brian Davis enters his fourth  season as television voice of the NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder. A veteran broadcaster, Davis returned to the NBA in 2004 as host of Seattle Sonics broadcasts on FSN Northwest.

Davis regularly covered the Chicago Bulls during the Michael Jordan era and became a contributor to NBA Radio, hosting game broadcasts and serving as sideline reporter for the network during the 1991 playoffs and NBA Finals. He later hosted Bulls broadcasts on FSN Chicago and occasionally called Sonics games in Seattle. He has an extensive play-by-play resume at the college level, including the Big Ten, Pac-10, Conference USA and the Mid-American Conference.

Davis has called games at the professional level in four other sports: NFL football, as radio voice of the Seattle Seahawks; College Football on CBS/Westwood One;  NHL hockey, in a reserve role with Chicago Blackhawks; and soccer, with Major League Soccer’s Chicago Fire. He has also worked as pre-season play-by-play announcer for the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals.

As a sports anchor for CBS Radio and its Chicago all-news affiliate, Davis covered major events including the Olympics, NBA Finals and Stanley Cup Finals. His resume includes football play-by-play in the Big Ten, Pac-10 and MAC. He is an accomplished interviewer and talk show host and has won several professional awards, including one for investigative journalism during his days as a news reporter in Chicago.

Davis holds a journalism degree from Northwestern University. He and his wife, Judy, have two children and make their home in the Oklahoma City area.
