Michael Holton played basketball at UCLA from 1979–83, and was selected in the third round of the 1983 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors. During his pro career Michael also played for the Chicago Bulls, Portland Trail Blazers, and Charlotte Hornets. From 2001 through March of 2006, he was head coach of the University of Portland men’s basketball team, where he served as an assistant coach in 1994-95. He was also an assistant coach at Pasadena City College in 1993-94, at Oregon State University in 1995-96, and at UCLA from 1996 until 2001.
